Warren W. Eginton : ウィキペディア英語版 | Warren William Eginton Warren William Eginton (born February 16, 1924) is a United States federal judge. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Eginton was in the United States Army during World War II, from 1943 to 1946, achieving the rank of Lieutenant. He received an A.B. from Princeton University in 1948, and an LL.B. from Yale Law School in 1951. He continued to serve in the United States Army Reserve from 1946 to 1973, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was in private practice of law in New York City from 1951 to 1953, and in Stamford, Connecticut from 1953 to 1979. On June 5, 1979 Eginton was nominated by President Jimmy Carter to a new seat on the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut created by 92 Stat. 1629. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on July 23, 1979, and received his commission on July 24, 1979. He assumed senior status on August 1, 1992. ==Sources==
